Founded in March 2017, Graduates Unleashed are a group of young creatives who believe in the power of the arts to support young people to take their first steps into their futures. Based in Birmingham, Europe’s youngest city, we support young people with the mindset that ‘today’s young people are tomorrow’s leaders’.
Through our events, we aim to showcase what Birmingham has to offer to creatives, offering free masterclasses, panel discussions, networking activities, mentoring sessions, and much more!
As young creatives who are about to enter the big wide world of work and become the next generation of creative professionals, we curate creative and informative events that inspire, educate and empower our audiences. We believe in the power of the arts to develop the skills and confidence of young people in creating work and getting the training required to fulfil their desired careers. We build the bridges between young people and their future employers and enable the next generation to find out about the opportunities across the city.
We work with a steering group of aspiring creative professionals to create a programme of events that support them in learning the essential skills for getting work in the creative industry. Although our events target recent graduates, they are open to those who are still in education or at various stages in their career.
